Common Sense Rules for Traders

Filed under: Uncategorized — Admin @ 5:38 pm

1. No matter what you read about trading, until you use an approach and test it with your money on the line you will never learn how to trade. Paper Trading is NOT Trading!
2. If it were really possible to “Buy Low Sell High” or “Cut your Losses and Let your Winners Run”, then almost everyone would be making money rather than losing it.
3. Remember that there is ALWAYS someone on the other side of your trade who is using a trading technique exactly the opposite of yours who hopes to make money with his system.
4. If 90% of all traders lose money, they must be following generally accepted trading rules. The 10% who win do not!
5. You trade your beliefs and your beliefs about your system. If you have a problem with yourself, fix yourself first.
6. Impatience, Fear and Greed will make you poor. Any need to trade is rooted in greed and impatience.
7. If you really understand the markets then YOU KNOW that there is the same opportunity on every time frame, in every market, every single day.
8. Waiting for the perfect trade is “chickening out”, and caused by your lack of faith in yourself or your system.
9. Any hardwired, automated trading system sold that truly works 70 or 80 or 90 percent of the time in every market would be worth hundreds of millions of dollars and would not be for sale at any price.
10. Asking “How small an account do I need to begin trading” is asking to be wiped out.
11. Having a series of winning trades early can be more hazardous to your account than a series of small losses.
12. Learn to trade before you trade. If you win or lose without understanding why, you will never develop a winning strategy.
13. Ninety five percent of everything you hear from everyone about the markets and the markets “reasons” for doing what it did or will do are lies. Neither you nor anyone can predict the future. You can only make educated guesses about potentialities.
14. Asking someone (such as using a service) for advice on where the market is going is a sign you should be on the sidelines until you understand the market better. If the upcoming market direction is not obvious to you, you should not be risking your money. You will lose often enough even when you are right.
BONUS TRADER TIPS
15. There is NO GUARANTEED way of making money in the Markets or anywhere else. NONE, NADA, ZIP, ZERO! All you can do is increase your knowledge about yourself and how to estimate the probability of placing a winning trade. Then trade by taking controlled and measured risks.
16. We recommend you read and fully understand the risks by reading what the National Futures Association has to say about risk.

The Cheating Scandals At Online Casinos

Filed under: Uncategorized — Admin @ 12:26 pm

The online poker gambling industry seems to work through a new big cheating scandal. In August, 2007 the cheating scandal was burst out at Absolute Poker, and although at first the site asserted that the cheating claims did not take place, finally the site admitted that an Absolute employee cheated hundreds of thousands in winnings out of poker players. That scandal drew to a close at the beginning of this year, and some weeks later a cheating scandal at Ultimate Bet, Absolute’s sister site, was uncovered by poker players.

The things have developed at the same scenario, at first Ultimate Bet stated that the cheating claims were invalid, but then the casino poker gambler went on claiming that some gamblers in the high-stakes tourneys were with a false edge over other gamblers. After several months of denial, the two online casinos players are demanding that Ultimate Bet take measures concerning the cheating.

The online gambling community has conducted their own nonofficial investigation of the Ultimate Bet scandal, and though charges won’t be brought from this investigation, many people are convinced that the Ultimate Bet employee used the same cheating tactics.

The fact that alarms more and more and a lot of online poker players have noted it is that the merely 2 companies in the whole online casino gambling industry with such scandals are owned by Tokwiro Enterprises ENRG and both of them are licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission. These facts would provide valuable clues with regard to why the cheating claims go on.

AUTOMATIC OR MANUAL - WHICH ONE IS MORE APPROPRIATE FOR NAMIBIA?

Filed under: Uncategorized — Admin @ 10:37 am

If you have ever been to Namibia or at least have visited a website which is featuring some information about Namibia especially with regards to the roads you would notice that 80% of the roads are of poor quality and unfortunately automatic vehicles cannot handle the dust and harsh road conditions. Luckly the car industry has changed and have given its clientele the choice between buying an automatic or a manual driven vehicle which was not the case a few years ago! Some people do prefer an automatic since you practically do not have to do anything – like changing gears - for some drivers this is a hassle although when travelling up north or organizing a holiday to the south a manual vehicle would be appropriate due to the dust and small stones that can be hazzardouse to an automatic! Then also another thing to take into consideration are the service costs for an automatic which of course is more expensive than a service for a manual vehicle. Secondhand car dealership know this and encourage its buyers to consider for which purpose the vehicle is going to be bought and give advise what would be the best and most affordable option at the end of the day. Yes, for driving in town an automatic would be the ideal there you can relax behind the steering wheel and not worry which gear to use next and the wear and tear is less of a hassle whereas when constantly driving on a gravel or dirt road with an automatic the results would be quite troublesome and the service costs would empty your pocket in a flash! So, when you are buying a car next time may it be new or pre owned, please make sure for what purpose you are buying the vehicle. However at the end of the day the decision is still yours to make!
